Who Is LuLu?
Affectionately dubbed "The Queen of Virtual Collaborations," Lucretia "LuLu" Williams is an international speaker, passionate educator, and trailblazer in the event planning industry.
As the Owner and President of Distinct Event Planning, LLC, a highly-sought after premier event management & design firm, Lucretia's career spans over 25 years, cultivating elevated experiences for corporate, nonprofit and social events. A masterful planner and designer, she and her team have partnered with several prestigious organizations such as the National Basketball Association, Jack and Jill of America, Inc and the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council.
Fueled by Christ and driven by purpose, Lucretia has always coupled her faith with her instinct for problem-solving to foster collaboration.. Early in her career, feeling isolated, she turned her expertise and desire to educate into action. In 2017, she founded The EmpoWEred Planners Society, creating a space for creative professionals to share knowledge and build lasting relationships. Her entrepreneurial spirit later led her to establish The EmpoWEred Women Society, a community of faith-driven professional women, and The Belle Dianna Collective, a collection of stickers and affirmations inspiring young Black girls.
Committed to redefining collaboration and shifting the "hustler mentality" mindset, Lucretia engages audiences with her dynamic energy, encouraging professional women and entrepreneurs to thrive with intention.
